Ryan Edwards Storms Off Stage To Avoid Maci Bookout Confrontation Over Drug Use

Tensions between Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards were building weeks before she filed a restraining order against him. On part one of the Teen Mom OG reunion, the parents of Bentley accused each other of lying.

Bookout and her husband Taylor McKinney chatted with reunion show host Dr. Drew Pinsky about their relationship with Edwards.

McKinney explained how although he “wants the best” for Edwards, who entered rehab in May for heroin abuse, he admitted he doesn’t agree with his behavior.

“I don’t like the vulgar, threatening text messages,” he said. “I’m trying to do my part as a man and a father and a co-parent to be the bigger person and stay out of it, but it really does bother me.”

They explained how Edwards continues to refuse a drug test.

When Edwards went on stage with wife Mackenzie, he explained how he never took a hair follicle test because he wouldn’t pass. Instead, he was open to taking a urine test, which he never did because they “haven’t discussed it.”

He also blamed Bookout, claiming she never responds to his texts.

He then opened up about his March 2017 arrest for possession of heroin.

“I got pulled over with drugs in the car,” he explained. “I take random drug tests with the court.”

As Radar broke, Edwards was arrested again in March 2018 for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation from the March 2017 arrest.

He explained how he got prescriptions for the pills he took.

“But it wasn’t for any other reason than recreation,” he explained. “[The doctors are] all in jail now.”

He explained how he calls his therapist “every once in a while,” and how hard it is to find a counselor because many don’t want to work with a reality star.

When Dr. Drew tried to call up Bookout to the stage, Edwards stormed off.

“I’m not sitting out here with her,” he fired. “I’m done. I’m not going out there with her. Last time I had a conversation with her I got mad, and I’m already mad anyways. She’s full of it man and I’m not getting myself upset.”

His wife told Dr. Drew, “She lied on stage with you and said Ryan never texts her back.”

When a producer told Bookout that Edwards fears she’ll challenge him, she responded, “Or the proof that I have that they’re liars!”

“It’s like he sends all these text messages and he claims I don’t answer them he can ask me out there,” she said. “Pull out my phone. He deletes them!”

As Radar reported, Bookout and McKinney filed restraining orders against Edwards. Bookout claimed she feared for her safety, while McKinney alleged he threatened to shoot him.

Both were temporarily granted.

Amber Portwood then joined Dr. Drew via video chat to discuss her decision to go almost an entire summer without seeing her daughter Leah, 9. She blamed her split on the depression that followed after splitting from ex-fiancé Matt Baier.

“It was an abusive relationship mentally and physically,” she said. “It turned me into an unhappy and depressed person. When I found out he possibly cheated on me that was the end.”

She explained how she turned to alcohol to drown her sorrows.

“I stopped taking my medication,” she confessed. “I thought I could control my anger and my life without my bipolar and border line medication and I realized after a few months that wasn’t possible. The last thing I wanted was Leah to see me in that light.”

Portwood credited her boyfriend and baby daddy Andrew Glennon for “picking me up before I started doing drugs again.”

“I don’t even know if I would be here right now,” she said.

Glennon then discussed Radar’s exclusive story on his drug use and driving under the influence arrest.

“It was something I went through,” he said. “I wouldn’t be the person I am today If I didn’t have it.”

Also on the episode, Catelynn Lowell broke down in tears over leaving her daughter Novalee, 3, to enter rehab twice for suicidal thoughts after suffering a miscarriage.

“Am I putting her through the same stuff my parents put me through? Traumatizing her?” she asked. “It scares me. Growing up with an alcoholic mother who was never there. My dad was in my life up until I was 12 and decided to take off with his other kids and move away. I struggle with abandonment issues.”

She also explained how giving up her daughter Carly with Tyler Baltierra at age 16 has contributed to her depression.

Lowell, who was a heavy marijuana smoker, explained how she is four months clean and sober from the drug.

Part two of the TMOG reunion airs Monday at 9/8c on MTV.

‘Teen Mom’ Brother Found Guilty Of Murder In Fatal Shooting

Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant star Bariki Smith’s older brother Troy Seales has been found guilty of murder. RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusive details on the sentencing.

A jury found Seales, 30, guilty of the murder of Deandre Adams on April 7.

According to Newsgetter, Adams was shot multiple times while driving his car in Oakland, California on August 25, 2017. He died at Highland Hospital.

Seales was arrested on September 12. He was also charged with two counts of great bodily injury, which he denied, and one count of shooting at inhabited dwelling, which he pled not guilty to.

Radar can reveal he will be sentenced on May 4, 2018 at 9am.

Ashley Jones’ baby daddy expressed his outrage over the verdict.

“I have an older brother named Troy Marshall Seales, who today was cheated out of the rest of his life,” the Instagram post read. “He has been fighting a murder charge since September of 2017, he has been in trial for this murder charge for the last 2 weeks, he was completely snatched of all opportunity at having a second chance at life, a innocent man should be given the same equal opportunities as everyone else in this world. In this trial literally everything bad has happened from horrible lawyer representation to jurors (who decided whether he was guilty or not), falling asleep in mid trial.”

He continued, “I know my older brother and I know he is an amazing, loving, kind-hearted person no matter what background he has. Yes he doesn’t have the best criminal background and he has done time and openly admitted to his faults, but one thing he has NEVER been is violent, and with MURDER to be something someone actually committed, they would’ve had to be a violent person. TROY SEALES wouldn’t hurt a fly, he would literally give the clothes off of his back if need be.”

But the post forced his mother Shenandoah Williams, who has a major storyline on the show because of her feud with Smith’s baby mama, to slam him over Instagram.

“Bar crying they took his brother,” she wrote. “[You] didn’t even sit [through] his trial or put up one dime for lawyer. [You] just got a storyline minutes after [the] verdict. I lost two sons but my 1st born, we will fix this. I [won’t] stop until justice is served. A sleeping juror cannot decide anyone’s fate.”

Williams later explained that she reached out to Smith, but that she was “still blocked.”

On the episode, Billy explained how he got out of jail 10 days before the scene was filmed.

Billy was arrested and charged with one count of delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance for the March 14, 2017 offense.

“[Billy] did deliver less than 50 grams of a mixture containing the controlled substance cocaine,” court papers obtained from Third Judicial Circuit Court of Wayne County in Michigan read.

He was charged with a second count of delivery/manufacture of cocaine for the offense that took place on March 15, 2017.

Then he was charged with delivery/manufacture of cocaine, possession of firearm by a felon and weapons felony firearm stemming from a March 16, 2017 offense.

He was sentenced to two years probation and six months with a GPS tracker for the March 14 and March 16 cases, which are to be served concurrently.

Back on July 28, 2014, Billy was arrested for breaking and entering a building with intent, and larceny in a building.

He pled guilty to the first charge, while the second was dismissed. He was sentenced to five years of probation.

Starcasm was the first to report on his criminal past.

On the episode, Amber dropped the bombshell that they are “trying to get married” and are “trying to have babies.”

A clerk for St. Clair County Court in Michigan exclusively confirmed to Radar that Amber and Billy did apply for a marriage license.

Although the clerk could not confirm if the couple actually tied the knot, Amber insisted on Instagram that they eloped.

Amber isn’t free from crime herself. Radar exclusively reported she was arrested for drug/narcotic equipment and driving on a restricted license on April 10, 2013.

She pled guilty and was sentenced to 20 days in jail.

Catelynn Lowell Reveals Meds Didn't Work For Her

Catelynn Lowell has revealed that the mental health medication she took for five year didn’t work for her.

As the In Touch Weekly website has reported, Lowell just made an appearance on Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowrys podcast, Coffee Convos, with her husband Tyler Baltierra and talked about her mental issues and what she’s done to try to conquer them.

Lowell added that her mental health problems “stem from the trauma in my past so I’m going to have to keep digging into that.”

She and Baltierra also chatted about wanting more kids after they gave up their first daughter to adoption and are raising their second little one, Nova.

“We’re kind of not rushing into things right now,” Lowell noted, referencing her devastating miscarriage.

Lowell stunned Teen Mom OG fans last year with news that she had felt suicidal, writing, “Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment.”

She also revealed grim details about her dark thoughts exclusively to Radar, saying, “I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself. ‘He’s Not Clean!’ Maci Bookout Insists Ryan Relapsed After Pregnancy Announcement

Maci Bookout believes her troubled baby daddy Ryan Edwards relapsed around the time his wife announced their pregnancy. In a Teen Mom OG sneak peek for this week’s episode, Bookout dropped the drug bombshell to her mother Sharon.

“I thought Ryan wasn’t about that life right now,” a shocked Sharon said when her daughter told her the pregnancy news. “Maybe a new baby is what Ryan needs.”
Bookout responded, “Maybe… Maybe not. I feel like if this doesn’t do the trick then absolutely nothing will.”

Her mom replied, “He’s 30. Ryan’s going to do what Ryan wants to do. Babies and wives and baby mamas aren’t going to do it for him.”

When Sharon asked if Edwards, who shares son Bentley, 9, with Bookout passed a drug test, she responded, “No.”

“If he were clean he would take a drug test,” Sharon said, as Bookout replied, “My people know people… he’s not clean.”

Edwards was arrested on March 27 for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation, for a March 2017 simple possession of heroin arrest.

Edwards went to rehab in May after he was caught on camera driving high to his wedding to wife Mackenzie.

A source close to the cast previously told Radar, “They don’t think he’s in his right mind because they believe he’s still using. She’s pretty much had enough.”

Bookout and her husband Taylor McKinney filed protection orders against Edwards on March 23.

Bookout alleged, “He has left voicemail messages threatening to show up at my house and take my son. He has made threats to show up and hurt me if I don’t answer my phone.

She claimed during her son’s baseball game in May 2017, Edwards “showed up under the influence of heroin and got in my face, yelling and threatening to hurt me.”

“His behavior and actions are getting worse,” she claimed. “I am fearful for my three children and myself, and what he may do, based on his threats.”

She asked that Bentley and her children with McKinney, Jayde, 2, and Maverick, 1, also be protected under the order.

In McKinney’s protection order, he chillingly wrote, “He called me on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 and threatened to show up at my house and put a bullet in my head.”

The restraining orders were temporarily granted until their court hearing on May 21.
