Anderson Cooper Gets Emotional During Tribute To Late Friend Anthony Bourdain

Anderson Cooper got emotional during a tribute to his friend Anthony Bourdain.

He dedicated Friday’s edition of Anderson Cooper 360 to his late friend who committed suicide in France.

The host said: “He loved, and was loved in return.”

Cooper shared clips from their televised discussions over the years, including one in which Bourdain outlined his mission statement as a food lover and storyteller.

“It’s hard to imagine he’s gone, hard to imagine he’s not just off on some far-away journey,” said Cooper of Bourdain.

“Hard to imagine he’ll not soon return with new stories to tell, new foods to share.”

When he returned before announcing the commercial break, Cooper appeared close to tears.

On Sunday night, he will give an introduction to CNN’s previously scheduled new episode of Parts Unknown.

Talking about the show Bourdain said: “People are telling you a story when they give you food.

“And if you don’t accept the food, you are in many cultures, whether rural Arkansas or Vietnam, you’re rejecting the people.”

Arrangements are still being made for Bourdain’s funeral following his sad and unexpected death.

Kathy Griffin has “no f***s left to give!”

On her latest interview with Wendy Williams, the controversial comedian told all on her falling out with former BFF Anderson Cooper and her always-rocky relationship with Andy Cohen.

As readers know, Griffin, 57, was close friends with Cooper, 50, before he bashed her in public following her highly-criticized Donald Trump joke.

While Griffin told Williams, 53, she is no longer fazed by the backlash and constant republican death threats stemming from her “bad joke,” she admitted her falling out with Cooper was very painful.

“That one just hurt. I don’t even have a joke, like when he turned on me, I mean I didn’t even hear for him for two months,” she said.

“He did a tweet like right away calling me ‘disgusting,’” added Griffin, referring to the CNN host’s brutal tweet after her scandal.

After Williams asked if Griffin would forgive Cooper if he ever apologized, the comedian responded: “He’s not that kind of guy. He and Jeff Zucker who runs CNN, they’re not cut from that cloth.”

Griffin later touched on her relationship with Cohen, 49, whom she claimed was “the worst boss ever at Bravo.”

When asked if she would forgive his apology, Griffin let out a wild laugh, saying “screw him!

“I’m spilling the tea like I’m gonna burn myself,” stated a smiling Kathy Griffin.
