You can comment, but you can’t hide!

A wanted man in North Wales taunted police on their own Facebook page after the department posted information about his search.

On Wednesday, the North Wales Police appealed for information to catch Martin Tate, who is being tracked down by authorities on suspicion of assault.

The force shared a mugshot of the 31-year-old on its Facebook page, asking the public “Where’s he hiding.” Shortly after, Tate replied under the post:

“Can’t catch me hahaha I see who has the last laugh now”

Who says you can’t keep up with your social media accounts while on the run?

Which party will get the last laugh, however, remains to be seen. Officers wrote back:

“Hi Martin – you can run but you can’t hide. See you soon”

Tate’s post garnered over 7,000 likes, while the police response racked up a mere 6,000 before the department deleted the post altogether.
