David Spade: ‘I Check In On Ex Heather Locklear From Time To Time’

Funnyman David Spade checks in on his ex-girlfriend Heather Locklear whenever he feels she’s in trouble.
The Joe Dirt star dated the actress in 2006 and admits they have remained close, touching base during life lows.
Appearing on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, on Wednesday, David was asked if he still speaks to Locklear, who is back in the headlines following a series of recent legal woes.
“I mean, I love her,” Spade told Cohen. “She was nice to go out with me. I will always be indebted to her because she was so nice, so fun, and no apologies, went out with me, didn’t care, even though I’m sure she took some grief.
“I grew up loving her. She was on SNL (Saturday Night Live) once hosting when I was a writer. She goes, ‘I remember you’, and I go, ‘There’s not a chance… she remembered me…’ I was some doofy writer, not getting any sketches… I ran into her later, we were friendly, and then we started hanging out. She’s always chirpy and fun and hilarious.”
Spade reveals Locklear called him when his sister-in-law, Kate Spade, committed suicide last month.
“Heather, I check on her,” Spade added. “What can you do other than just say hello, and check in, and say, ‘If you ever want to say hi and and talk or anything…’, and that’s what people did to me with Kate. And there’s something nice about (that)… It’s just sort of a friendly gesture.”
And talking about his ex’s ongoing issues, Spade said, “At least when people just say ‘hey’ that’s some niceness coming in… instead of ‘what’s going on?’ which is obviously very tough.
“She’s (Locklear) having a tough situation… I have had my down moments, like everybody, so I don’t look at anybody like, ‘Ugh, can you believe?’ I just go, ‘S**t, everyone is, like, one inch away from having some trouble sometime’.”
Locklear was admitted to the hospital last month following a reported overdose a day after she was arrested for allegedly kicking an officer when police responded to a domestic disturbance call at her home.

Cheryl Ladd To Detail Depression Struggles In Memoir

Actress Cheryl Ladd is preparing to tell all about her battle with mental illness in a new memoir after revealing she secretly sought treatment for depression at the height of her Charlie’S Angels fame.
The veteran TV star, 67, has finally agreed to write her autobiography, and she will use the book to detail the personal struggles she faced behind closed doors, when her career was at an all-time high.
“When I was on Charlie’s Angels early in my career, I had all of this success, but I was going through something really dark, and nobody really knows about it,” she shared on daytime show The Talk.
“As a matter of fact, I’m finally doing my memoirs, and excited about telling all the parts of the story, because if in your life, you don’t have the light and the dark, you don’t have a picture, and you have to remember that.”
Cheryl explains she was in desperate need of help at the time, and although she was initially hesitant to seek treatment from medical professionals, she is glad she was brave enough to do so, because it really turned her life around.
“It was (hard to seek help)…,” she recalled. “It was so private and because I had always been this really positive person, when it all started to come toward me, I really struggled, so I was really happy that I got help.”
The actress admits coming clean about her own health issues is long overdue, and she wants her story to help destigmatise the topic of mental illness for other generations.
“It’s time that I write that in the book,” Cheryl said. “I think it will help a lot of people because I think that it needs to be talked to (sic), literally on a daily basis, because a lot of people are struggling and I think we all have to help them get help.”
Ladd is already an established author – she wrote a children’s book, The Adventures of Little Nettie Windship, in 1996, and released Token Chick: A Woman’s Guide to Golfing With the Boys, about her love of the sport, in 2005.

Kim Kardashian Rakes In $5 Million In Five Minutes As Fragrances Become Must-haves

Kim Kardashian enjoyed the sweet smell of success on Tuesday when her new fragrances raked in $5 million in just five minutes.
The reality TV star and entrepreneur unveiled three perfumes – Kimoji Cherry, Kimoji Peach and Kimoji Vibes – and quickly cashed in on seven figures without spending any money on advertising, promoting the products exclusively through social media.
Kim’s Kimoji perfumes retail for $45 per bottle and are expected to sell out quickly, although sources tell TMZ she ensured there was more than enough to go around for the second line after her first perfume launch last year sold out almost instantly, netting $10 million of sales in a day.
Turning over an incredible profit for beauty products in a short amount of time is not an uncommon occurrence for the 37-year-old wife of rapper and fashion designer Kanye West – she has also cornered the make-up market, earning $14 million in five minutes after launching her KKW Cosmetics last summer.
However, the new launch isn’t all good news for Kim – she has been slapped with a lawsuit over her new perfume’s logo.
According to court papers obtained by The Blast, Vibes Media has hit Kim with a civil case, claiming her KKW company swiped a logo they created and trademarked in 2012 to promote her latest fragrance line.
Representatives at Vibes Media claim KKW bosses have been abusing the logo through marketing and promotion, as well as packaging the scents in a bottle that is “a close facsimile of the Registered Vibes Logo”.
Bosses at the company are seeking unspecified damages and have requested a judge impose an injunction to prevent Kim from selling any more perfume. They also want unsold fragrance bottles to be destroyed.

Comedienne Alice Wetterlund: ‘T.J. Miller Is A Bully And A Brat’

Deadpool 2 star T.j. Miller is facing another misconduct drama from a comedienne who appeared on his TV show Silicon Valley.
Alice Wetterlund, who starred on the show between 2015 and 2016, has attacked Miller via Twitter, calling him “a bully and a petulant brat”.
She also poked fun at his recentfake bomb threat drama on board a train, joking: “It is definitely time to rehabilitate TJ Miller’s career! We can’t afford to lose talent at a time like this, we need more – not less – comedic hijinks such as… calling in a fake bomb threat.”
The actor and comedian was arrested for allegedly providing false information about a bomb threat to federal authorities after claiming a woman wearing a scarf had a “bomb in her bag” on an Amtrak train traveling from Washington, D.C. to New York.
Miller reportedly gave authorities the wrong train number, prompting them to stop and search a train in Connecticut, resulting in massive delays and wasted law enforcement efforts. Authorities subsequently determined the 36-year-old was allegedly intoxicated and he made the report after getting into a fight with the woman.
Opening up about her experiences with Miller, Wetterlund tweets: “T.J. Miller was a bully and petulant brat and pretty much everyone who had any power on that (almost all male) set, including the male cast members, enabled him and were complicit in his unprofessionalism. They can f** off forever.
“I’m pretty open about this, and I don’t know if other women on the show had a different experience than me, but it was kind of a nightmare.”

Andy Dick Pleads Not Guilty Of Sexual Battery Charge

Comedian Andy Dick has pleaded not guilty after he was accused of sexual battery earlier this month.
The funnyman officially entered the plea in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday after a woman alleged he grabbed her bottom twice and made lewd comments as he walked past her on a Los Angeles street inApril.
The charges come months after it was revealed Dick, who has struggled with addiction issues, was fired from two films, Raising Buchanan and Vampire Dad, over allegations of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior late last year.
The 52 year old also made headlines recently after a 2007 clip from Jimmy Kimmel Live! resurfaced, showing him rubbing Ivanka Trump’s legs as she slapped his hands away. In the footage, Kimmel defends Donald Trump’s daughter by urging Dick to stop.
Dick has also been at the center of troubles at home – his longtime partner Lena Sved was granted a permanent restraining order against him in March over allegations he became violent after drinking. He was ordered to vacate the family home and stay away from Sved, their children Jacob and Meg, and her daughter Rachel Seff.

Jessica Alba ‘so Sorry’ For Leslie Jones’ Nightmare Shopping Experience

Jessica Alba has promised to help make things right for comedienne Leslie Jones after publicly complaining about her experience with the Fantastic Four star’s all-natural The Honest Company.
The Ghostbusters actress took to Twitter on Tuesday to put customer service officials on blast for the way they reportedly handled her most recent orders, after being a fan of the brand for years.
“Ok @Honest you just lost a good customer,” the Saturday Night Live regular griped. “@jessicaalba please address your company that is not doing good business.
“I have (used) your company for more than three years now and these last three orders have been a nightmare!! I have (spent) too much money here for that to happen!!”
At the time, Jones did not share what exactly had gone wrong, but three hours later, Alba responded directly to the disgruntled funnywoman and vowed to fix the problem.
“Omg (oh my god)! I’m so so sorry you haven’t had a great experience,” Jessica replied. “We are all over this issue and will make it right. I am so appreciative and grateful to you for being a loyal Honest fan over the years, especially as we go through these growing pains. I’m a huge fan of yours.”
Jones has yet to reply to Jessica online, but a company representative subsequently reached out in a tweet and apologized for the delay, revealing her order for a diaper cake, in which diapers are arranged in tiers like a cake, can take up to three days to process because they are handmade.
However, Leslie was not impressed, because she had paid almost $50 for express shipping so the item would arrive the following day: “next day air should not be a f**king option,” Leslie raged. “It should be made clear that the order is sent after processing which you don’t do. It’s not overnight if it gets there in a week… The last three orders were late. It wasn’t like that before.”
She then made it clear that was the last straw, and decided to shop elsewhere for the product.
“No worries I’m sure you not the only ones who sale (sic) diaper cakes!!” Leslie added. “So disappointed cause I’ve spent a lot of money with y’all! @jessicaalba”.
Jessica launched the brand in 2012 and in just three years, turned it into a billion dollar empire. She and her partners are now in the process of making The Honest Company goods available to a global audience after receiving a bumper investment from private equity officials in June, but the firm has also had its downfalls, with a number of lawsuits filed against brand bosses in recent years.

Jude Law Quizzed J.K. Rowling About Dumbledore’s Sexuality

Jude Law quizzed Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling about Albus Dumbledore’s sexuality as he prepared to play the young wizard in the Fantastic Beasts sequel.
The Sherlock Holmes star landed the coveted role, played by Richard Harris and Michael Gambon in the Potter films, in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and admits he went straight to the source to seek out tips on how to play the academic.
“Jo Rowling revealed some years back that Dumbledore was gay,” he tells EW.com. “That was a question I actually asked Jo and she said, ‘Yes, he’s gay!’”
Jude added that information to his research but admits he was careful not to reveal too much of his character’s part in the film, adapted from Rowling’s Potter prequel screenplay.
“As with humans, your sexuality doesn’t necessarily define you,” Jude adds. “He’s (Dumbledore) multifaceted. I suppose the question is: ‘How is Dumbledore’s sexuality depicted in this film?’
“What you have to remember is this is only the second Fantastic Beasts film in a series and what’s brilliant about Jo’s writing is how she reveals her characters, peels them to the heart over time.”
Law joins an all-star cast, including Eddie Redmayne and Johnny Depp, and admits he is really enjoying playing Dumbledore.
“You’re just getting to know Albus in this film, and there’s obviously a lot more to come,” he grins. “We learn a little about his past in the beginning of this film, and characters and their relationships will unfold naturally which I’m excited to reveal. But we’re not going to reveal everything all at once.”
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits cinemas in November.
